Mostly we are using our mobile internet on our PC using WiFi hotspot, USB tethering or any other way. Here we will guide you to share your Windows 10 PC’s internet to your mobile via hotspot.

Here,You can share a Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or cellular data connection via Wi-Fi. Even If your
computer or the laptop uses a cellular internet connection, you share it.

1. Click the Start button and go to Settings
2. In settings, select Network & Internet and then Mobile hotspot.
3. For the option “Share my Internet connection from”, choose the type of PC Internet
   connection you want to share.
4. For the Share over option, choose Wi-Fi as the way you want to share your

5. Now click on Edit to enter a new network name and password and Save. (Optional).
6. Toggle the button and Turn on Share my Internet connection with other devices
   Option.
7. To connect to the internet from the mobile device, turn on Wi-Fi on that mobile device
   first. Then Select your network name and connect to it by entering the password.

If you are using the latest windows 11 operating system, the above mentioned steps are
getting changed slightly. Following are the exact steps to use PC internet on mobile using
WiFi on windows 11.

1. Click the Start button and go to Settings
2. In settings, select Network & Internet and then Mobile hotspot.
3. For the option “Share my Internet connection from”, choose the type of PC Internet
   connection you want to share.
4. For the Share over option, choose the way you want to share your connection ( via
   Wi-Fi or via Bluetooth or any other) . Here Wi-Fi is recommended since it’s faster.
5. Now click on Edit to enter a new network name and password and Save. (Optional)

7. To connect to the internet from the mobile device, turn on Wi-Fi on that mobile device
   first. Then Select your network name and connect to it by entering the password.

Using Connectify- A 3rd party Software Tool

In this we are going to try a 3rd party software tool called Connectify to share the PC’s
internet. Basically this is a hotspot software which gives your computer the ability to work as
a hotspot. Here are the steps to Configure Connectify.

1. First Download and Install Connectify on your PC. (link- https://downloads-
   direct.connectify.me/ 10mb )
2. After installing, Restart/Reboot your PC.
3. To set up the network settings for use, go to Settings page and then select Wi-Fi
   connection.
4. Click the option to set up the hotspot network and put the SSID name and password
   you like.
5. Now click on the “Start Hotspot” button.
   Now it’s done! You will see a notification saying that your hotspot is now ready.
   As same as in the earlier method you have to connect to this newly created WiFi via your
   mobile device.
   Note: To use Connectify it is not compulsory to create email accounts or share personal

Using Bluetooth

If you are not capable of using Wi-Fi Hotspot here is the solution. Here we will be using the
Bluetooth technology where you can use PC’s internet by switching on the bluetooth on your
mobile.

This method is not as fast as Wi-Fi or USB tethering. So if you are expecting a fast
connection this method is not recommended.
Here are the steps,

1. Click the Start  menu and go to Settings
2. In settings, select Network & Internet  and then Mobile hotspot.
3. For the option “Share my Internet connection from”, choose the type of PC Internet
   connection you want to share.(or keep the default)
4. For the Share over option, choose Bluetooth as the preferred way to share your
   connection.
5. Now click on Edit  to enter a new network name and password and Save.
   (Optional).
6. Now Turn on Mobile hotspot.
7. To connect to the internet from the mobile device, turn on Bluetooth on your mobile
   device first. Then Select  your network name and connect to it by entering the
   password.

Connecting to internet via USB

In this method we are going to help you share your PC’s Internet connection to your Android
mobile device via a USB cable.This method is called USB reverse tethering.
USB tethering may be familiar to you since we often use that technique to share our mobile’s
internet to the PC. But reverse tethering is the vice versa which we use to share our PC’s
internet to a mobile device.

When should we use PC Internet on mobile via USB

• When you don’t have a Wi-Fi connection or a mobile network

mobile devices.

1. When you are giving network names and Passwords, always use a strong password
   which could not be easily guessed.
2. While connecting your mobile to your PC, try to avoid giving permission to access the
   storage and personal data.
3. You may have to update or install drivers.
4. If you are not allowed to create hotspots, first confirm that your PC has a wireless
   adapter with properly updated drivers.( External wifi adapter is the solution if internal
   adapter is absent)
5. Check thoroughly before downloading third-party softwares. Ransomwares,
   spywares, and many more harmful softwares are spreading widely.
